Candy for Cavities?
As many of you have probably figured out, we are, ironically, a dental practice that loves our sweets (but we brush when we indulge --honest!). So the potential launch of a new candy that can prevent cavities is a little like a dream come true. :)
Apparently, a German company has developed a sweet featuring beneficial probiotic bacteria. The good bacteria swallows up the bad bacteria that would normally cling to and damage enamel. The good bacteria is then excreted from the body.
